The College of Dentistry at our university held an introductory symposium on the services of the college library, in cooperation with the Central Library and the Continuing Education Division, with the aim of introducing students to the mechanisms of benefiting from information resources and available library services.
This symposium comes as part of the college's efforts aimed at implementing the requirements of programmatic accreditation, in addition to enhancing students' scientific research skills and developing their abilities to access reputable academic sources.
The symposium was presented by Asst. Lect. Maryam Khalil Jalil and Mr. Ibrahim Aziz Ali. It included a presentation of the most important services provided by the library, in addition to an explanation of the methods for utilizing the scientific databases available to students.
The symposium also addressed clarifying the mechanisms of borrowing and informational services, which contributes to supporting the educational process and enhancing the research activity of students and researchers.
